Keep the Medicine Bow WILD Alternative Biodiversity Conservation Alliance needs volunteers to help us in our efforts to Keep the Medicine Bow WILD. Before the end of the last comment period on the Medicine Bow National Forest Plan Revision, we (with the help of volunteers and other groups like the Sierra Club) successfully collected over 4,000 postcards supporting the Keep the Medicine Bow WILD Alternative! In April we hand-delivered those comments in bulk to the Forest Service office in Laramie. Public comments calling on the Forest Service to Keep the Medicine Bow WILD made a big impact and we would like to do something similar when the next round of public comment opens. This is where you come in. We are looking for people who are willing to go to Lake Marie on weekends and speak to hikers, tourists, etc. about the campaign and encourage them to sign postcards. We understand that you are all busy. Whether you just want to give one day or whether you would like to participate every weekend, it is up to you. Any time you can give would help tremendously.
