LARAMIE - Biodiversity Conservation Alliance Announces Mountain Outings
LARAMIE - Biodiversity Conservation Alliance has just announced its schedule of Medicine Bow and Red Desert Outings for summer and fall. These hikes will be led by BCA staff and are free and open to the public. If you would like to register (space is limited) or would like carpool, rendezvous, or camping information, RSVP Sarah Egolf at (307)742-7978 or sarah@voiceforthewild.org.
“When people experience our beautiful public lands in Wyoming they can tell why protection is so important,” said Sarah Egolf, spokesperson for Biodiversity Conservation Alliance. "These outings feature some of the best of southern Wyoming, are free to the public, and come with interpretation by local conservationists."
Rails to Trails, August 18

Adobe Town, September 8
Visit the crown jewel of Wyoming’s high desert wilderness, and explore the towering cliffs and pinnacles of the Skull Creek and Adobe Town Rims. This one-day trip with shorter walks is suitable for beginners. High-clearance four-wheel drive required
Sierra Madre Scenic Drive, October 1
Join a leisurely drive around the Sierra Madre Range, with its abundant aspen woodlands and wild roadless areas. The driving will be punctuated by stops for short strolls, scenic overlooks, and picnicking.
