SOUTHERN RED DESERT CARAVAN May 28-30 A three-day auto tour with car camping and very short day hikes across the southern Red Desert, visiting landmarks such as the Powder Rim, Prehistoric Rim, and Adobe Town. Highlights will include bird watching in juniper woodlands and wild horse viewing. High-clearance four-wheel drive required. Trip Leader: Erik Molvar.

HUTTON LAKE PRAIRIE DOG TOWNS June 4 Join us for a day of wildlife viewing at Hutton Lake National Wildlife Refuge, home to a thriving white-tailed prairie dog colony. Come learn first-hand how the prairie dog creates and sustains an entire ecosystem. Trip leader: Jeremy Nichols.

PROSPECT MOUNTAIN FLOAT & HIKE TRIP June 11-12 A 2-3 day combination raft trip through the Platte River Canyon to the Prospect Mountain proposed Wilderness for hiking, with backcountry camping along the North Platte River.
