BOARD OF DIRECTORS
 

Perry Wechsler, BCA board president, is a longtime Laramie activist and original member of BCA; Perry is a senior atmospheric scientist at the University of Wyoming.

Jeff Kessler is a key figure and founder of BCA, having played a central role since its inception in 1988.  Jeff retired from his position as Executive Director and joined the board in 2005.

Mark Jenkins is Rodale's Global Correspondent and a freelance outdoor adventure writer for publications from National Geographic to Outside Magazine.

Chip Rawlins is an outdoor field scientist, author, and former employee of the Bridger-Teton National Forest; Chip joined the BCA board in 2006 after serving on the boards of Wyoming Outdoor Council and Greater Yellowstone Coalition.

Martha Christensen is a Professor Emeritus of Botany from the University of Wyoming and long-time conservation advocate for the Medicine Bow National Forest, having played a key role in enacting the Endangered American Wilderness Act, which protected the Savage Run Wilderness
