$1,800 pays for the travel and food expenses for one BCA volunteer to inventory deserts, forests and grasslands within the public domain. These independent inventories can last up to three months, and provide comprehensive data to help designate protections for pristine places.

$680 keeps the BCA office open for one month, including rent, insurance and utilities.
$500 provides for community outreach at five events or festivals to educate the public about the urgent need for conservation and provide opportunities for people to get involved (three days each).
$700 pays the travel cost of ten educational trips to pristine and threatened landscapes to train and encourage activism on their behalf.
