Call Your Senators Tomorrow!


Climate change legislation being introduced in the Senate today, Wednesday, September 30th. The amount or percent of funding going to safeguard wildlife and natural resources will be determined during the proceedings. Make sure Wyoming's Senate environmental staff are hearing your voice on passing strong climate legislation this year and dedicating at least 5% of allocations to natural resources.

Thursday, October 1st.

If calling, ask for the Senator's Environmental Staff or leave a message.

Include the following:

Your name, the group you represent (if applicable), and city or place of residence.

Please include the following important request. "Support a strong climate bill that dedicates at least 5% of available proceeds to protect natural resources."

Include, if you wish, an example of how global warming impacts your area - but the most important request is the message underlined above.

A climate bill may not be voted on for few weeks or even months, but Thursday, October 1st is the time to make sure the bill comes up for a vote and includes dedicated funding for natural resources.
