ACTION ALERT!

Speak Out Against Logging in Medicine Bow Backcountry

When: January 30, 2009
Time: 12:30 - 4:30pm
Place: Medicine Bow Headquarters, 2468 Jackson Street (West) Laramie
Topic: Shellrock Bark Beetle and Fuels Reduction Logging Project

This 45,000 acre proposed project area is located about 30 miles southwest of Laramie and would include unnecessary logging in Medicine Bow backcountry.

Various Forest Service specialists will present information and maps of the proposed logging and take questions from attendees.

Seating is limited. If you plan to attend, please call the Forest Service at 745-2371.

Please come and speak out against unnecessary backcountry logging that is being proposed in the name of beetle control and fire prevention.
