SNOWY RANGE SCENIC BYWAY CORRIDOR MEETINGS

USFS is again catering to snowmobilers and ORVs.

Please attend the meetings and speak up!

USFS is offering a pair of meetings about the Snowy Range Scenic Byway Corridor Management Plan. "A CMP is a written document that provides the vision, goals, objectives, and management recommendations for enhancing and retaining the unique qualities of a scenic byway."

Some of the items they mention are building snowmobile parking lots, bringing recreation facilities up to standard, and a trail around hanging lake, with parking lots. There is no mention of bike trails or access, or X-C skiing, or any other non-motorized use.
