We invite you to join us for the 2004 Wyoming Conservation Congress

The conference will feature field trips on the afternoon of Friday, March 26th, and a full day of expert panels and guest speakers on Saturday, March 27th. Registration is free, but seats are limited, so register today if you wish to attend. If you would like to attend the luncheon, please register on or before Friday March 19th. The agenda follows.

If you wish to make reservations for Saturday's Governor's luncheon ($9.00/person) or Saturday's dinner ($16.00/person), please send your check together with your conference registration (and specify a meat or vegetarian meal for each). You may also register by calling (307) 367-8472 or faxing your information to (307) 367-3670. Also specify if you're interested in taking a free LightHawk small plane overflight of the Upper Green drilling fields on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

The conference will be held at the Pinedale Entertainment Center, 153 S. Entertainment Lane, at the west end of town.

Friday, March 26
1 - 5 p.m. - Auto tour of oil and gas drilling in the Trapper's Point bottleneck.
LightHawk overflights
7 - 9 p.m. - Slide shows at the Pinedale Library: Wyoming's Great Divide -- The Red Desert at Risk plus author signing of the book Wild Wyoming, and Ancient Corridors - The Trapper's Point Story.

Saturday, March 27
Morning - LightHawk overflights
8:30 a.m. - Welcome and Introduction, Mayor Rose Skinner of Pinedale and Randy Udall of the Community Office for Resource Efficiency, Aspen, CO.
9:00 a.m. - Wildlife Panel, featuring scientific authorities on ecological issues.
10:40 a.m. - Hunter/Angler Panel - featuring local outdoorspeople and outfitters.
12:00 p.m. - Luncheon with Keynote from Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal.
1:30 p.m. - Landowner Panel - focused on split-estate ownership of oil and gas beneath private lands.
3:15 p.m. - Mitigation Panel - focused on ways to reduce the impacts of well fields.
4:45 p.m. - Conclusion, Randy Udall.
5:30 p.m. - Reception, cash bar.
6:30 p.m. - Dinner, Keynote by Tweeti Blancett New Mexico Rancher.
