NEWS TELECONFERENCE ADVISORY

Next steps to be discussed regarding the Jonah Infill Project
and its impacts on lands and wildlife


What: A news teleconference will be held to discuss actions taken to prevent unnecessary impacts to lands and wildlife in the Jonah Field, pursuant to the recently released Decision on the Jonah Infill Drilling Project.

When: Thursday, April 13th, at 1:00 pm. Mountain Standard Time.

Participants:

Gordon Johnston – Long-time resident of the Upper Green who used to work cattle in the Jonah area before it became a gas field

Dr. John Bryant – Retired ecologist and resident of the Pinedale area

Bob Elderkin – Retired BLM official who formerly worked on energy development in Wyoming and Colorado; currently works with hunting groups on Colorado oil and gas issues

John Fandek – Pinedale area ranch hand and wildlife enthusiast.

Peggy Kuropat Bryant – Pinedale area resident and concerned citizen with a background in wildlife biology

Erin Robertson – Staff ecologist with Center for Native Ecosystems with expertise in small mammal biology.

Erik Molvar – Wildlife biologist with Biodiversity Conservation Alliance.
