Speak out against the BLM's heavy-handed proposal!

Dear Conservation Supporters,

One of the biggest and heaviest-impact coalbed methane projects that the world has ever seen may soon be hitting the Atlantic Rim, a quarter-million acres of wildlife-rich habitats along the eastern edge of the Red Desert in Wyoming. The Wild Cow Creek proposed wilderness also lies squarely in the path of this destructive proposal.

We need you to speak out against the BLM's heavy-handed proposal!

This project will bring high-density drilling to big game crucial winter range, nesting concentration areas for hawks and eagles, and will impact 88 sage grouse leks, some of the most important populations in the state.

Speak at tomorrow's public hearing
7 to 8 p.m., Thursday, February 2nd, at the Jeffrey Center in Dowtown Rawlins
Open house from 5 to 7pm

Send in your comment letter by February 17th!

The Atlantic Rim will be one of the biggest conservation battles in the Red Desert, and we must not allow it to be destroyed by an irresponsible and poorly-planned drilling project. Help us deluge the BLM with calls for conservation for the Atlantic Rim! Thank you for your dedication.
